Foto Relevance provides contemporary art consulting and represents leading and emerging contemporary photographic artists. Foto Relevance has access to both local and international galleries and artists, and researches and acquires artworks for private, public, and/or corporate collections. By doing so, Foto Relevance furthers its commitment to growing the general appreciation of contemporary photography-based art. Recently, Foto Relevance opened a new office and exhibition space, and it also joined the Houston Art Gallery Association, an organization that promotes Houston as a destination of the arts. The near-joint occurrence of these two events was the perfect opportunity to launch Foto Relevance’s brand and entrance into the Houston art community.
Innovant worked to create a brand with the goal of positioning Foto Relevance as the go-to resource for people who are interested in learning more about and acquiring contemporary photography. Once the brand was created, we built a website, using a clean, contemporary aesthetic, to tell the Foto Relevance story by highlighting artists who are represented and through a clear indication of the consulting services offered. Our aim was for the website to serve as a user friendly informational catalogue and to direct interested buyers to contact Foto Relevance for more information or to visit Artsy. As part of our overall communications strategy in addition to the brand and website effort, we offered public relations support around the unveiling of Foto Relevance to the art community, key influencers, and collectors through securing local press coverage in targeted publications and aiding with event strategy for the launch party.
